Typically high in phosphorus and low in calcium.

A very palatable rich source of fiber and vitamin B.

Should not be fed in excessive amounts due to its extremely high phosphorus content (no more than 500 grams per day).

Excessive phosphorus in the horse’s diet can inhibit calcium absorption.
